< KATRINA NICKELL, MOUNT OLYMPUS
Nickell is a senior at Indiana University-Bloomington studying broadcast journalism with minor in public relations and German. She has been part of Kempa Kamp every year since being a camper and high school journalist herself; minus one year where she interned for WTTW-PBS on their news hour, “Chicago Tonight.” Nickell is excited for her return to Kamp and hopefully bring her Kampers to anything other than a last place finish (again).

< REBEKAH CARTLIDGE, THE TOY BOX
Cartlidge is a junior at Illinois State University studying public relations with a minor in film studies. This will be her fourth year at kamp and third year as a kamp counselor. Coming off her first place finish from kamp last year, Cartlidge is eager and excited to meet the new kampers to watch them learn and learn from them.

< KRISTINA ESDALE, HALLOWEENTOWN
Esdale is a junior at the University of Missouri. She is a double major studying journalism with an emphasis in magazine editing, as well as a textile and apparel management major with an emphasis in merchandising and marketing. She is also getting a minor in business. Esdale has always had a passion for writing, and hopes to one day live in a big city and be an editor for a high-fashion magazine. She was a camp counselor in 2017 and is excited to return home this summer.

< EMMA KUBELKA, PRIDE ROCK
Kubelka is in her third year at Kempa Kamp, her first two years as a kamper, and now attending as a counselor for the first time. She recently graduated from Huntley High School where she was a staffer writer, online editor, and Editor-in-Chief for the award-winning The Voice newsmagazine. She was also the clubs editor for The Harmony yearbook. She will be pursing social work in the fall at an undecided university.

< JESSICA NETTGEN, 100 ACRE WOODS
Nettgen is a freshman at UW-Whitewater this fall majoring in Early Childhood Education. She was a photographer and special projects director for the Tom Tom, and continues to pursue her career in photography. Jessica has attended Kempa Kamp in previous years and is excited to be a counselor for the first time this summer.

< GRIFFIN HACKELOER, THE CIRCUS
Hackeloer is a sophomore at Southeast Missouri State University studying cyber security, He is from Antioch, Illinois, and was a part of the Tom Tom staff. Hackeloer has lived in Antioch his whole life, he has two older brothers, one younger sister, his mom, his dad and two dogs. His favorite things to do are lifting weights and taking long walks on the beach.
