Brief Description of your program: The Spartan Spotlight is published through an extracurricular club. There are usually between 8 and 16 staff members with varying levels of commitment. We usually publish four print issues a year and are in the process of improving our online presence.

Best Advice or Hardest Lesson Learned: It took me a while to learn to take a step back and be more "hands off" when things aren't on schedule or going according to plan. Remembering that it's ultimately on the students and that the advisor is merely there to guide and support them has made a big difference. Shout out to my JEA Mentor, Shannon Kuehmichael, for helping me work through that lesson.
