Join colleagues from around the Midwest this winter to share stories and inspire one another to keep up the good work of teaching and advising student media. Warm up your mind by listening to talks from speakers and industry professionals, as well as sharing your own successes in Professional Learning Community-style setting.
Spark your passion with workshops in areas like recruiting, staff training, maximizing Excel, increasing finances, getting administrative support, learning new classroom activities, and more. While you’re in Whitewater for the event, you can also browse area art galleries, spas shops, and microbreweries, enjoying Friday night dinner followed by a pleasant stay poolside at the Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Whitewater featuring a free continental breakfast buffet. Registration is $200 for KEMPA members or $225 for non-KEMPA members, and includes breakfast and lunch on Friday, Feb. 7. Group dinner and hotel fee paid by attendee. The hotel stay includes a breakfast buffet for Saturday.
