The First Amendment Matters PSA Contest

As New Voices campaigns spread across the country, we want our students to be aware of their First Amendment rights. One of the ways to do that is to get them involved in doing something worthwhile that will sharpen their awareness and understanding of the issues.

Here’s a link to a very do-able contest for your students:  Create a 30-second public service announcement that addresses the topic of the First Amendment. https://www.schooljournalism.org/schooljournalism-org-first-amendment-psa-video-contest-2017/

Deadline is May 3.  The contest is sponsored by SchoolJournalism.org.
